My cig. lighter on my 4/4 sport is to the r.of the glove"box" under the dash . A couple of weeks ago Aldi had a converter that had 3 output sockets into one input - about£5 - they may have one left if you tour local Aldis - means you can power a few items at the same time. I stick my Tom Tom next to the rev. counter - just to the left - it is visible through the steering wheel and the sucker sticks well to my dash - another benefit of the painted dash.
Morgan seem to change the position of the socket - it used to be inside the glove compartment and changed it to under the dash.
Happy hunting.

I find the speedo is a reasonable place to affix the suction cup of the bracket if your GPS has a clear speed readout.

I used velcro and put a strip of it on the underside of the leather roll on the dash.
The sat nav then hangs in front of the oild gauge etc

My Tom Tom suction pad goes neatly on the windscreen under the mirror and sits bang on top of the dash.I guess they vary. Mine's a little Start2. If you use the screen, wipe off suction marks to deter attempted theft.

My 2005 4/4 had the socket in the glovebox but not connected! Easily solved, cable was under the dash (purple/brown I think). Satnav suction mount fits on the windscreen as normal. Alternatively you can put the satnav on the gearbox tunnel, as the signal is perfectly good there. For many journeys you don't need to connect the satnav to power, most should last 3hrs+ on battery.
