It was also sold under the Fuji brand if I have it correct in mind. The problem with its format is that you need to have an own laboratory otherwise it is not unproblematic to get the pictures developed. The M6 ist still a good value for its money and a lot cheaper than M6TTL and M7 but it "eats" batteries if you forgot to turn out the exposure meter. So I have always a spare battery with me. The M8 is also very nice and not so expensive anymore because everybody is looking for a M9. I very pleased with it. I think the prices will go down nearby because rumours says that a M10 will come. HFS Morgan had also a prewar Leica. If you know how to handle a handheld exposure meter they are still very usable today and not so big and heavy like the Ms. BR Christian

Hi Christian, Yes, Fuji TX1 & TX2 (the latter also marketed as the XPan2). I have a very good local film (and digital) lab that has no problem with panoramic photos, from XPan to 6x17cm (which I also own) plus all large format film too. I see the M7 is still a current model on Leica's web site, very few appear on 2nd hand market. I have no problems with using separate light meters - have done so since the age of 12 (more years ago than I care to remember! Cheers,
