I was idly browsing the national trust website earlier and noted that there is a morgan gathering scheduled for this weekend at Wallington Hall, Northumberland.
I am not sure who's organising it there seem to be regular car events there but I don't suppose the NT actually organises them, anyone got any more details?

Copy below from John Anderson any Morgan welcome:
Notice to all Normog Members Please note final arrangements to put in your diary now. Currently we have 16 cars in the red book for Wallington Hall, But we would like to encourage some more please. This event is forming part of Wallingtons Best of British series of events to be held during the Olympics. We will meet at the Vallum Farm Tea Room, on the B6318 Military Road just West of the Robin Hood Pub, on the south side of the road; post code NE18 OLL ie between Stamfordham and Matfen turn off roads; meet at Vallum at 9.45 am for coffee. John Anderson will lead the convoy from Vallum to Wallington The Cars will be displayed in Wallington courtyard, accessed via the side entrance and not under the clock tower. Follow John A Cars are expected to be on site by 11 am and remain till 3 pm; but there can be some flexability for late comers, except that we have to marshall you in, so please let us know. Members attending in a Morgan being displayed will receive free entry to the Garden and Grounds, but will need to pay £3 for entry to the House. Any friends and family coming seperately will need to buy an admission ticket at the gate. Either bring a picnic or there is a Tea Room in the grounds Hope to see you there Please confirm by e email to either me ( 01434 632693 ) or Josie 01661 844778 Kindest Regards JOHN ANDERSON Normog Centre Sec.

Thanks for that Tony, weather dependent I'll tag along - oddly if the weather is horrible its more likely I will make it - if the weather is good I'll be sailing at Derwent reservoir instead, having spend months renovating my boat I haven't had chance to get it wet yet
