does anyone have any ideas how to stop the hood tensioner handles from always leaving their position and annoying you when driving

Elastic bands or fabric covered elastic hoops do the trick nicely...

Hood cover works well, keeps the handles behind it, and stops the hood flapping around over 60mph.

Make sure that the tensioner handles are really in their proper position--they might appear to be in position when in fact they are not--and they will not come off while driving.

Scottie,

Mine seems to stay in place and I have no idea why or how, although I have my own hood problem.
I was putting it up the other day and one of the braids on the front part of the hood snapped, this is the bit with the plastic sleeve coating on( clearly worn out after long service). Now looking for solutions on how to fix it, can the wire be joined to more wire.

Two solutions to these issues either
1/ leave the roof down
2/ upgrade to a series 4 aero
