That looks as if it’s retrofittable to a chassis , although we were told it could only be fitted at manufacturing. Has the chassis / bracket been re- engineered??
As I understand it, the recess in the rear of the vehicle is only available if the option of the bracket is ordered with a new car. Therefore, a retrofit is not or only very difficult possible. Whether the threaded holes for the bracket are present in the chassis if this option is not ordered I do not know.
The design of the backet has not been changed. My dealer has the orginal bracket only additionally on the outside stainless steel welded, as seen in the photo,
