To add my penny worth. Yes the cars coming out of the factory are OK. But they do need setting up properly & slightly better components eg better dampers. My 4/4 has a mild re-map of the ECU, which is a better map than standard. Torque comes up about 500 rpm lower but is much the same. Suspension is virtually standard with the addition of panhard rod & anti tramp bars. (The tramp bars are really only there to protect the springs) camber & track have been optimised. The car is great fun to drive & on track more than capable for its class. Not sure why straight out of the factory everything is a bit vague as if properly set up the cars are great fun. Guess that is part of owning Morgans.
