Have a friend who's a teacher ... she's already caught out a few who have turned in AI work ... by knowing the pupils she can spot the discrepency (having a kid who didn't know what 'multifaceted' means when asked ...when it was in the work he submitted .... was enough to get a confession 🙂) . Kid honestly couldn't see what was wrong with what they'd done.
But not every teacher knows their classes as well .... she reckoned it wasn't impossible that if things progressed as they are that we'd see a return to 'blind question' exams ... sat in a big hall, no phones/watches, close invigilation, do it on the day sink or swim .... like it used to be in my school days. We live in interesting times.
