I have learned to have limited confidence with GEMS and a stock code reader. Which code(s) were you given? A mildly rusted wire at the exposed
sensor will give you the same code as a single totally failed oxygen sensor.

LAW OF COLLECTOR CARS:To enjoy any Morgan, you must become self-sufficient with it. Its best mechanic...albeit only specific to one car/model.

Yeah. smile I began as a jurist..though I retired very young.

As for the diagnostic tool for GEMS..these change over time, always getting cheaper. The first one, manufacturer issue, was cunningly priced to keep owners
out of the repair market. They are no longer priced at 30,000. I have a good 14cux/GEMS friend in the UK. Mark Adams of Tornado systems. Give him a call.
Sweet guy. I can walk one through most easy Morgan GEMS fixes, but your goal should be the adhere to the law above. I prefer setting up a methodology for your next issue.

Insufficient.

Start by asking Mark Adams for what diagnostic/programming unit he can still recommend. Many are sill around and work well. But whatever you choose
to do will be a learning experience in one way or another. You will learn what support network will benefit your car the most. wink Actually, the best GEMS person
our Morgan community ever produced is on this forum, merely not active. But your issue is straight forward.

Please try all suggestions given in this entire thread and report your experiences. Good luck.
