You could also call into the Metheringham Airfield Visitor Centre, south of Lincoln, on the way to the ferry at Hull. We have a real 1944 C-47A Dakota where you can sit in the pilots seat or on genuine 1940's Para seats, you won't get that at Arnhem! We have an extensive Airborne display including a 1/3 scale Horsa and a rare Welbike with CLE container. It was a WW2 Bomber Command airfield, so plenty of Lancaster stuff as well.
