Seeing that very photo several years ago inspired me to follow suit. Easy enough to do, just a skill saw and a steady hand....The tough part was separating the forward bonnet bulkhead panel from the curved bonnet top as Morgan used so many spot and edge welds which I ground down with a 1/2" belt sander
just so over a very long afternoon. In the end I managed to achieve a good result without damaging the top side factory paint (lots of blue painters tape used as protection). Just a respray of the inner bonnet surfaces was all that was required. At the time I also took the opportunity to repaint the nose from painted silver to body color, and moved the Morgan emblem down 2" or so, where it belongs, IMHO.
