Also, depending on your philosophy about safety and particularly airbags, they give 30% of the protection against a frontal collision.
Yep, an airbag is a good thing to have without a doubt. On the other hand, I never used to worry about such things in all the years before airbags were a thing, so why start now? My so-far-successful strategy of avoiding having a crash has worked for the last 45 years or so.
Modern Morgan owners seem less and less inclined to do their own maintenance, and for them the DIY argument is probably not particularly appealing. But for me being able to look after it myself is definitely at least half the fun. I'm with Flyfisher and Dave, I'm sticking with my Trad.
But then given that I haven't got a hope in hell of ever being able to afford to buy a CX anyway, I would say that, wouldn't I?
