DalesPlusFour ..... this thread may be yet another uniquely Morgan thing .... when you have a 100+ years of company history of making cars that engage their owners to the point they survive, passed on as heirlooms .... and nearly a century later you're still producing cars instantly recognisable as 'family menbers' ... you end up with a driver base with wildly varying reasons for owning a Morgan .... other brands are old, but their cars have changed so radicaly over the years that you get a fragmented 'fan base' .....people collect old Citroens but have no connection to the person driving out of the dealership with this year's model .... not so Morgan ... with no other company could you drive your fresh from the showroom Plus 4 up the road behind a 70 year old 4/4 and no-one but a Morgan-Pundit could tell them apart .... we may all have hugely varying expectations of what we want out of out Morgans but we are all still 'Morganeers' (even those masochistic weirdos with not enough wheels and oil stained goggles! 🙂) .... long may that continue with the Supersport and its offspring.
