It seems to me that's an entirely reasonable thing to say. I don't mind in the least that MMC might not be aiming their flagship model at people like me.
Truth be told, for my kind of usage, the Super 3 probably makes the most sense, were it not for the lack of weather equipment. The home maintenance bit would be no problem either, as you can get the FCOM software for £400 or so.
