Being one of a diminishing clan of spanner jugglers I can say that I have replaced this sort of ball joint and am horrified at the outrageous quote for doing the job from your "Rip Off Team". This is a simple job and the price quoted is extortionate. The tool required is a very simple two part item consisting of a small horseshoe shape to hold the joint and a hinged bolt that is aimed at the central upper flat within the joint. Screwing in the bolt forces the joint appart - easy peasy. Suggest buying such a tool and take a look at some You Tube videos on the subject. redcard
