That point about blinding oneself is very valid Richard, it happens with the LED headlights too. The lights are actually about right, any higher and the dip cut off would be too high, and in fairness the range is good, I just need it to be better, especially down here in the South West, where there is a lot of wildlife on the roads. I have had 2 deer strikes, a Badger strike and a Hawk who was feasting on some road kill as I rounded a bend, and flew away up, right into my nearside headlamp, taking the lens, reflector and indicator with it. That was expensive on a nearly new M3!
