Was just going to have a short run about not far from home yesterday, but decided at the last minute to throw in a tent and head for somewhere obscure so ended up at Kinloch Hourn just before the heavens opened. I know, hard to believe that it could rain in the summer in the north west highlands but it did actually happen. There's some serious rebuilding of the road going on so it's closed through the day on weekdays so had a bit of an early start this morning for the road back to Invergarry then round by Spean Bridge, Loch Laggan and back up by the backroads to the Lecht and on home in the much more normal sunshine.
