Oh dear me, what sad news, I met colin on the MSCC DG in the 90`s and he joined eMog when I informed him of it`s existence, I think we chatted more OOG (out of group) than when on the forum.

Colin like me was into m/cycles. thus we had lots to chat about. He had a bad accident in his yoof on his m/cycle but that did not stop him getting his leg over again.. (-: Colin was also into rallying and really enjoyed it, being an expert mechanic working for BL and later in his career training other mechanics all around Europe for BL, and later for Volvo.

My good lady and I met Colin and his wife at the Lakes Weekend arranged by Fell Mog way back when, and I forever afterwards pulled his chain as my Mog won a shield in the concours event at that weekend... Even though I never entered the old thing in the concours... (-:

It was sad to see Colin and Lorne arguing over the best way to drive in snow, a case of Colins expert rally driving experience Vs, Lorne`s also expert level of snow driving ability, given Lorne lived a few miles along a single track road in Quebec which had many a twist turn and steep gradient... Two strong willed characters, I guess, both who were probably correct in their own way... pity.

I knew Colin was putting up a fight against Cancer for quite some time, and did not mention that my good lady was doing likewise, none of which I wished to share as there was no good lnews to pass on, re my good lady..so comms dropped off... Colin was a first class chap, and ever keen to help out anyone he could as he more than displayed on the MSCC DG, eMog and TM.... I have missed our chats for a number of years now, RIP Colin..
