Yes indeed Dave! shame its your wallet that's paying BHM to become the experts though. I really am starting to wonder just exactly what is accessible via the OBD2 port. As I said little is available to me on my Duratec 2010 car. yes you can clear fault codes but so can the most rudimentary readers. and any fault codes I have had which have been almost negligible I have induced myself from disconnects or component changes. When I first got the car the OBD2 port was nowhere to be seen, I eventually found it tucked way up out of the way and unless I hadn't removed the dash it was ..... er! Hidden? I wonder if Morgan had just removed the power lead connection from the block on these locked cars. Anyway Dave, I think you probably were closer than you think to solving this one. Had you had someone like RichardV6 looking at the car together with you I'll bet you would have found it.
