this shows the dumbell pins installed with the retaining spring steel retainers



Note, I have found that the spring steel retainers tend to loose their 'spring', you can see the difference here, this could lead to the pins wriggling free

Richard's comment about going back to normal split pins is valid and I may well do the same at the next brake check and clean day
