I use a ARB Stormproof bag - 70L
https://shop.ms-rt.com/products/arb-stormproof-bag-70l (totally waterproof) with a lockable Cambridge Kayaks camlock strap as a deterrent (locks and has a cut resistant internal metal cables). I know some purists consider this not "traditional " enough, but you need to use what works for you.
