Talk Morgan Forums Thread Like Summary - M3W alternative parts list

Over my five years of TM membership and slightly less M3W ownership I have listed the part numbers and descriptions of many of the parts that other owners have found are either alternatives that work or the Original Equipment Manufacturer identification. Now that many of our cars are out of warranty and more owners are doing maintenance the parts information is becoming more important.

My list is quite long now but I am sure there are a lot more that could be added by TM members. I am not looking for Morgan or S&S numbers as they are all quite readily available but things like the Volvo clutch release cylinder, alternative batteries or headlights for example. I would like to make the list available to all here and also plan to put it on the MTWC website as well. If you have anything you think should be included, please list it on this thread or PM me if it is lengthy. I will try and edit something useable. Any advice on the best way to make it available here will be gratefully received.

Latest update of the M3W Alternative Parts List. The main changes for this list include some additions to the engine sensors, brake flexi hose front to rear information and some additional information about Mazda gear change parts.

As always, if you have any information that may be of help to other owners, please let me know and I will add it to the next update.

Latest update for the Alternative Parts List. Some additional information about fuel filler caps, exhaust flexi adaptors (found out from my own experience!) and some rear wheel and tyre information. Any information you have that may help other owners, please email it to me for inclusion in the next update.

Update includes engine oil pressure sensor info, oil filter housing to crankcase seals , oil tank/crankcase alternative vent info, alternative front indicators, luggage rack suction cap.

As always, if you know of anything that fits or works better for the M3W, please let me know and I will add it to the next list update. The same applies if you find any mistakes or wrong info, I don't check it all out I just relay what you tell me or I pick up from posts.

Updates include info about Clutch Master Cylinder repairs kit (thanks to Leopold), a very useful addition as more of these fail due to lack of regular fluid changes, parking brake switch (thanks Black Adder), some seat belt info and some other small additions.

Any parts information that may help the M3W owning community, please forward them to me at the email at the end of the list.

Latest update of the Alternative Parts List. Not many changes or additions this time, some more engine sensor info, Empire kit rod end bearing recommendations and that is about it. It looks like we may have just about everything listed for the M3W parts now.......??? Let me know if you come across any more useful items to add please. Use the most recent link as most of the earlier ones have been deleted.
