Using old bed slats and some old mohair I made a unique birdbox loosely based upon an RSPB design. You can see why DIY isn't my core skill set.
The style is "Rustic Bodge".

My 15 year old small grinder expired last weekend so as it's a Makita with proper metal gearbox and decent bearings I thought worth repairing, so a new armature and some brushes...sorted for just £20 !

I use L&S Engineers in Walsall for parts, they stock an amazing range of OE stuff.
