As the subject line says, let's try and build a better more reliable Turn Signal Module.

I have an electronics Engineer that is looking at this and has asked the following questions.

I would be grateful for any answers, findings, diagrams anyone has.

His questions are as follows:

I see, after an online search, that, according to :Updated list 14. 7 January 2020 (mtwc.co.uk) it causes trouble:




Do you have further info on the failure mode?
Do you know the connector part number?
can you send me a wiring diagram of the vehicle?

Let me have any answers here and I'll forward them on to Alister, the engineer.

Alister has produced another batch of the upgraded TSMs and these are now available at £85 each plus £5 P&P for the UK.

When they are gone they’re gone and although Alister can make some more he would need a minimum order of 10 units and preferably 20 units.

Note, these are only applicable to the 18 pin units fitted from 2013 onwards and do not fit Euro4 cars which have different 14 pin modules.

Thanks. Thank the Lord ! I was wondering what possibly could the TSM do? Besides turn left and right blinkers on lol or/ and time them down . My brights won’t lock on if I push stalk forward ? Is it TSM or relay ? It’s not stalk . The brights do work when flashed by pulling stalk thanks appreciate any help
