Rather unusually for a small British sports car company, Wells are still going strong. It's fair to say that the development of the Vertige has taken far longer than anticipated but production is now under way.
These are all the cars currently on the road with three more in various stages of assembly at the factory.

Power is currently provided by the 2.0 Ford Duratec (with an 'R' Spec option of 250bhp) but after the current batch of 10 cars they are switching to the 2.5L Duratec. Current owners report that the cars handle beautifully and are easy to live with. It's a similar size to a Lotus Elise but more practical with decent luggage space as well as being easier to get in and out of!
