Good day.

I have a 1986 +4 which was delivered with +8 spot lights. They are on a switch labelled 'fog lights' and can be switched on and off independently.

At the last service it was suggested that they should be connected to the high beam circuit, so that when the lights are dipped the spots should switch off. This is normal in Australia, but it is on full registration and it has not been mentioned before.

Does anyone have a similar arrangement, what are the rules in the UK, and is there any Australian experience here?

Thank you TBM and RichardV6. Great support.

I will ask the Morgan garage here to have a look at it. Now, I realise it has not been picked up before as the switch is labelled 'fog'.
