Hi,
I’m sorry if this question has been asked before, I’ve searched but can’t find it.
I have a 4/4 80th Anniversary which has the traditional hood. The handbook is vague about how to fit the hood and in what order to do things. I’m paranoid about getting it wrong and cracking the windscreen. Can anyone tell me the best way to do it?
I haven’t needed the hood so far but want to be prepared in the event of a downpour.
Thanks in anticipation.
John

I’ve the same car as Perry, we both bought new at much the same time, I’d concur with his advice.

For peace of mind though, I payed no attention to any instructions when I picked mine up from the factory and now that I’ve read that, I realise I have never done it properly since!

This reminded me of a highland day trip in summer when a freak hail storm caught me out, I’d hail stone in my boxer shorts by the time I had the roof on😂
