It's nice to report some exceptional service from Morgan and M3WServices.

During the Jungfrau-Treffen in Grindelwald a Super3 suffered a rear hub bearing collapse. As the car was undriveable the recovery service was called to send the car back to Malvern which would take up to 2 months  The owner contacted Massimo to see if he could help speed things up and he immediately tasked Andy Blackwell at MMC to sort something out more quickly.

A new hub was found at Morgan Geneva and arrangements made to send it to Grindelwald.

M3WServices were providing support for the event so Andy called  Craig who immediately agreed to fit the hub when it arrived. The hub delivery got delayed and didn't get to Grindelwald until 22:00. At this time the car was at the recovery depot in Thun which is about 45 mins away from Grindelwald.

Craig had earlier liased with the recovery company and arranged that if they were closed the the car would be left in an accessible location and so even though it was late he headed off, with the owner, to repair the stricken vehicle. Job done they got back to the hotel at about 01:30.

Thanks to the amazing teamwork and incredible support from MMC, Morgan Geneva and Craig at M3WServices the owner only lost one day of his holiday of a lifetime.

It's easy to knock companies when things go wrong but in this case everyone involved went above and beyond to rescue someone's dream.

Well done to you all.

Yes, Craig in particular has a fine reputation for pulling out all the stops to get the job done - and all credit to him and M3W Services.

BUT, isn't rear bearing collapse on the Super 3 a known problem that 'in the real world' would have been subject to a recall? If that had happened then Craig's magnificent efforts (not to mention significant stress and inconvenience for the owner) would have been avoided. Just sayin'.....
