All,
I drove my Super 3 yesterday in about 82 degrees (F) weather. A bit of stop and go traffic but also some cruising. Of note - I did my own oil change and switched to Mobile One Synthetic 5w-20 oil last week. Yesterday, usually when stopped at a traffic light, the car kept dinging with this error Morgan Overheat. Sometimes it would switch to a red version of the same warning for a few seconds - I'd hear a fan pop on, and then back to the yellow warning. As soon as I revved the motor, or drove away I could clear it.

My concern is that it is about to be a whole lot warmer here in Houston!! Has anyone else experienced this type of issue in the summer months?

The fan should cut in before the warning light comes on, not after.

The fan thermostat needs adjusting or replacing in the first instance.
