The June issue of “Classic & Sports Car” has a nice article comparing 4 versions of Morgan, from the 3-Wheeler to the Roadster. They are also featured on the front cover.

I concur! I changed from a ‘93 4/4 with 1.6cvh efi ( about 110 bhp.) to a 2002 Plus8 . A substantial power AND torque increase. I took my time learning the response. The end result was much more confidence and enjoyment. The 4/4 involved rev/gear management on faster (cough) runs keeping up with roadsters/Plus8’s. I realised I needed a bigger engine to reduce engine stress and have a better long distance tourer. I have adopted a similar learning process for the Plus Four. Kickdown, paddles and Sport modes so far. Sport+ next ! I haven’t driven a Plus Six but the extra 100 bhp would definitely need a big dose of learning. I have been informed by a Plus Six owner that “it’s good to frighten yourself occasionally”. This from a very experienced biker with racing pedigree!
