When Morgan changed the OEM front tyres from Avon sidecar tyres to Blockley, did they change the recommended pressure of 22PSI? I use quite similar tyres to the Blockley, Excelsior Competition H, which I prefer as they are a bit less prone to storage flats than the Blockley. This is important to me, as my M3W is in storage for 6 months over the winter. This came to mind, as I adjusted the tyre pressures this morning, now a super easy task with my Woo-Wind rechargeable lithium battery portable digital compressor, so much better than having to drag my large and very heavy compressor up from my cellar. Presumably this little compressor is made by the same gentleman after he gave up playing the blues at his Limehouse Chinese laundry.

Callum Frasier spoke to Blockley about their recommended tyre pressures for the M3W and they said minimum 30psi, recommended 35psi.


On standard Spax shock absorbers 35psi might prove a bit harsh but with Ohlins it's fine and significantly improves the front end grip
