So guys what a day.
Having voted I picked up Hawki & headed 150 miles up North (A14, A1, A52 etc) to Central Morgan. These guys are a Mog dealer with big plans. If you live in the Nottingham area have a look.
They sold a Mid Summer Mog & could have sold 3. Theowner plans to drive not museum the car. What N S divide we ask.
Belle god bless her never missed a beat and at 39,500 miles driven at 28.8 mpg weighted average was handed over just as the fuel warning light came on.

The new red car (she needs a name) was parked with some amazing stable mates and with a fat git in the drivers seat as we stopped for lunch.
A Lambo driver on the A1 was so impressed he roared off with a stunning exhaust note (picture care of Hawki).

I even treated Hawki to lunch at a select restaurant called Greggs.

So impressions.
The Roadster is a true trad point & push feel the chassis flex. Belle was well sorted & whoever buys her is a lucky person.
The CX .
The MY22 car goes very very well. Unless cruising 2nd & 3rd are the gears. Power delivery is more even and noise levels lower. Ride is smoother.
It is a far far better car than the 2019 car I tested when they came out.
We got 48 mpg despite the S+ mode in use and pottering across the fens as I couldn't stand the A1 A14 again. S+ gives some nice refined pops & bangs on the over run. Quieter by far than the WRP4 fully open Sports Exhaust.
I traded up to CX partly because of the WRP4 test drive but also sadly as

& I aren't getting younger.
Her review was:-
1. Much more comfortable seating. She has arthritis.
2.A quieter car
3. Better suspension. See 1.
I'll miss the Roadster terribly for it's non anodyne charater but the CX seems to be a great alternative for a fat old git with bad knees & maybe Santa might give it more power.
