The engine light comes on when ignition switched on but does not go off. Oil etc fine and car has done 300 km without problems. The nearest Morgan dealer is 2 hrs away so tried to see what the problem was myself. I located the socket for the OBD reader easily on the underside of the dashboard frame above the handbreak. Connected my old OBD reader (originally bought for the 2009 Discovery) but it could not read the Morgan system. Happy to invest in a new OBD but do not want one that does not work with a +4. If you know of an OBD reader that works with the +4 GDI please let me know. I am returning to the UK for a couple of weeks so can either purchase one there or here in France.

Most folk I know use this inexpensive Ford capable Bluetooth OBDII dongle. Click image for source.

Linked to the OBD Torque app on my phone it works a treat. If you upgrade to the pay version for a small sum it will not only read fault codes but clear them as well.

My custom display setup.
