Had a from (Avon) tire go completely flat on me. Had installed a tire pressure monitoring system which let the air out; it has since been returned! Only sat for 12-24 hours max. before I noticed. Inflated and tested the tire; seems to be holding pressure just fine. However, that tire now jumps or bounces down the road! The car pulls that way slightly, increasing with speed (not that I've driven it very fast like this). After visual inspection only (and comparing it to the other front tire), the one that went flat appears to be slightly twisted on the rim. When I look at the wheel from front on, I can see spokes clearly at the top but the tire twists around and covers them as you look down the tire. This is not the case with the other tire.

Thoughts? Should I deflate and reflate to see if there's any change? Visit to a tire place to have it reset somehow?

I have carefully checked the car over for chassis cracks and other, typical issues. None noted.

The tire may have not been seated straight. That will introduce wobble. Any motorcycle shop should have the equipment to do this.

Deflate the tire and spray armour all around where the bead it then inflate the tire. I bet Michael is right, the tire is not properly seated. BTW, pictures always help

Jack the car up before deflating, and ensure the tube is not pinched between tire and rim (which could cause the misalignment you note in your post). Then inflate the tube just a few psi to preclude pinching before ensuring the tube and tire are correctly positioned. Then fully inflate the tire.
