Any recommendations for a suitable glue to stick the U shaped seal into the head-rail of our Roadster. Evostick won't do as the seal needs to be slid into place and a contact adhesive will bond immediately on contact. And I reckon that cyanoacrylate (superglue) will be too brittle.

Just to report back that Weicon GMK 2410 did the job perfectly.
Very little 'stringing' on the glue - unlike Evostik. It's a contact adhesive that gives you time to adjust the fit. It's specifically designed for rubber to metal joints.
