I recently installed seatbelt extenders on my 2015 M3W. Now the seatbelt receiver isn't stuck somewhere down below my backside once we are in the car. Given I needed to build a slight booster under my wife's seat (for visibility and so she can reach the pedals when driving) it was necessary for her. With the seat elevated 3.5", the receiver was below the level of the seat.

I used the seatbelt extenders for a few years but have now fitted 25cm stalks which I reckon are a bit neater as well as giving you another couple of cm for your posterior! It's what the car should have been fitted with from new I reckon.

Great idea BUT.. if you occasionally give rides to other people, you may find that sometimes the extender needs to be removed!

I never thought it possible that the extender would be too long… but with a relative’s young girlfriend in the passenger seat it needed to be removed for the seatbelt to fit properly! Made me feel very fat, and I suppose the Morgan marketing team found this when doing photoshoots with young models in the car. wink

Very sensible!

To clarify, the issue with the extenders is the button on the seatbelt webbing preventing the seatbelt from being tight. Again, not an issue for me…
