As some of you may remember KH were going to upgrade my car by tweaking the ECU to create another WRP car but found it locked.
After months of chasing M Hole et al at MMC I got to the bottom of it.

So all newr CXs are affected, mine is a 2022 car.
I know you can send off to Finland via one dealer to get the lock removed for c £1500. Gulp!

Here is the reply from MMC

"Further to my email of earlier this morning, I have spoken with my colleagues in Morgan Development.

My colleagues have done some further investigation and spoken with their counterparts at BMW. Unfortunately they have confirmed that a new ECU from our production will indeed be locked, and it will therefore not be possible for the tuning to be deployed. BMW have started locking all ECUs that they supply.

The only way to get around this is for the ECU to be sent away for unlocking by a specialist tuner, which I know is already a solution that you have discussed with Krazy Horse.

I'm very sorry that I can't offer you another solution, but as Morgan we are restricted in what we can do for obvious reasons.

I hope you are able to progress matters with your existing ECU.
