i need help from the IT Tech Guys,


i have searched Google, but get frustrated by the layout and adverts that interrupt the search.

Can anyone advise me how your IP Address works.

Does your IP address get created in the location you purchase, set-up and operate your PC ?

If you Purchase and set up a PC in another Country is your IP Address based in that Country Continuously or does it move around the World with you ?

As an example if i purchased a PC from a Country in Europe, then brought the PC (Lap Top) to the UK, would the IP address alter ?

i am sure this is childs play for some of you l.o.l

Dean not wishing to confuse but since I set up a VPN (virtual private network) for added security it randomises your IP so it becomes more difficult for people to target you is how this seems to work.

When I log on to VPN it shows me what other users will see my IP address as and it is never my static IP address.

If I put in Jon's finder this is what it comes up with on VPN and I live in Devon so VPN doing it's thing..

My VPN has me showing as a Nigerian Prince out of Tomboquana.
