Talk Morgan Forums Thread Like Summary - M3W UK - How rare is military Green?

I've been holding out for a fairly frugal used M3W in Military Green (I believ sometimes refered to as Olive / Spitfire Green). I just realised that this colour was not a standard colour and the concern is I maybe hunting for a unicorn. Does anyone know how rare this colour is in the UK and therefore how realistic my ambition?

Ironically Car&Classic have the exact car I am looking for £44k... which is waaaaay outside my budget. Its a 2019 unregistered car, who holds a brand new car for 6 years????

There are some matt / military green M3W's about, it was a popular colour scheme, particularly with early cars. I wouldn't dismiss older and more used M3W's from your search. Unlike most cars age and mileage are not a major consideration, it's more about condition and specification. Many older and more used cars are a much better bet than an original specification "garage queen" that has only gone out a few times. Hopefully you have had a look at the guide Buyers Guide in the owner resources at the top of this forum? Not sure where you are but I expect that some current owners would be happy to advise if you find a potential purchase. With a M3W you do need to have some idea of what you are looking at beyond mileage and age.
