Unfortunately I was on the phone when it was taxiing and then took off right in front of the house. The noise of the twin radial engines at take-off power was something just astonishing.

It made 3 more runs but with a landing and take-off further up the lake. I had the sun in front of me but I did mange to get a few photos.

The smaller Goose also existed. It was also often flown by private pilots. These radial engine flying boats are fascinating...
