Just back from a three week 2240 mile tour of France, mainly in 32 to 38 deg heat ( but nice blue sky ). Just gave the car her once over and found one of the exhaust hanging rubbers has split and another is perished. Our car is 4.5 years old, so if yours is of a similar vintage it might be worth inspecting the hanging rubbers. There are rubber hangers at the mid point near the square resonator box, then another pair where the exhaust branchs into 4 pipes and another two right at the rear end silencer. I have the part number if anyones interested, but suspect they are generic parts. They are not expensive items.

We had a fantastic tour thank you..The car ran very well, we had a couple of minor interior trim issues, which I will fix tomorrow. The biggest issue was heat of a near constant 38 deg in daylight for 3 days, so we ran hood up and aircon on. I then found the hoods front rubber seal where it goes over the windscreen top had melted to the screens metal surround, I had to gently prise it off. I will write up our adventure and post with a few pictures.
