Thought I'd post here rather than For Sale/Wanted as there's room for discussion.

As my Mog is transitioning to 'RatMog' I fancy doing a new dash - my current dash is old and tatty and needs a freshen up, but I'm not a big fan of the bling walnut style,

I'm thinking something like Keith's dash, but in brushed/satin aluminium.

So, ideally I'd like another dash that I can either use as a template, of just put an ally cover over so I can then take out the old and put in the new without too much time off the road.

Does anyone have anything lying around orleft behind after an upgrade?

Current dash is like this (not mine)

Also, am I right in thinking that it is just held on with those screws in the bottom left and right corners?

Paul ... he's a biker ... more likely to use 1/4" steel plate ... then paint it with aluminium paint to make it lighter!! 😆

You could use a vinyl wrap - I suspect there are a multitude of options that would get close to the look you are looking for.

After discussion with the boss, going to go for similar to Keith - use his as a template and then make one out of plywood with a brushed ally skin. Change the black plastic switches for toggles, and stick a stereo in the space where the glovebox was....

Watch this space......
