As I see the post about the swiss Plus8, there are also some Germans racing a Plus8. With some success at the „Ring“.

Rene, that all seems rather comfortable when compared to this short circa 3 min vid of Nick Masons Ferrari 250 GTO driving down the road...? (-:

I think the Morgan may have had straight cut gears in the box adding somewhat to the din that ever seems likely to increase with the hood up let alone a hard top fitted..? (-:

As one who ever drove minus hood and side screens, decades back when nervously heading out in the rain for the first time with the hood up on our first trip to Europe and hearing noises I had never heard before, I was filled with trepidation... but the Mog proved it`s self to be a reliable old thing on that trip, and a further two similar and longer ventures into Southern Europe in subsequent years, all at considerably less cost/value than Nick Masons Ferrari, in which I suspect one would be a masochist to take on any real mileage let alone some European tour.... though no doubt some would be happy to do so... Any volunteers..? (-:

Yeah relativity as ever has to be considered.... carefully...? (-:

I know one of the Bock brothers, he told me that he was „kicked off“ by a BMW at the ring in a corner at very high speed.

The MOG needs a full rebuild, so you are right it‘s not only fun. He shows me also a video of one lap inside the car. Sounds like hell and braking was very different. So for a recovery after the impressions of one race a heavy metal party would be an idea.
