I have a Morgan plus 4 (2005). The seats are actually ok, but when set in a good comfortable reclined position for driving, the headrests are useless. There’s no chance of resting your head against them unless you’re looking at the sky ! It would appear that the stems should really have a small kick in them just under headrest ? Has anyone solved this problem?
My understanding was that headrests were not actually for resting your head on, but just to protect your neck in an accident. They prevent your head from being flung backwards too far and potentially damaging your spine.
I don't have headrests in my Mog but do in my MG. In normal driving my head is nowhere near them
I worry when Mrs F falls asleep in the Morgan. Her head tends to roll around a bit - I have visions of being pulled over to make sure she is still alive.
I don’t know how she does it. At night, if a mouse treads on a blade of grass in the next village she is instantly wide awake and disgruntled. Yet she can fall asleep in a Morgan, hood down on a motorway.
