This is the difference in breeding personified - trees and monkeys...

Legality Mafia style - "If this request is granted, the proceedings against him will be suspended, and upon the successful completion of the probationary period, will conclude with a ruling extinguishing all the charges for which John Elkann is currently under investigation.

"This outcome would mirror that of his siblings Ginevra and Lapo, for whom dismissal of charges has been requested."

It goes without saying that most of our friends have come from normal backgrounds and are always the first to offer help in a crisis.

I remember back in the 80's on one of my regular business trips to Italy being told of a corporate tax revenue concession. Their business tax deficits were running over a decade in arrears in many cases. As it was clear they were never going to catch up an offer was made whereby companies current annual tax bill plus a further 50% was paid on time in return for their previous tax arrears to be wiped clean. I guess this appealed to the Italian psyc as cash rolled in.

Since Covid the Italian Revenue men have been visiting their marinas -demanding details of the owners of the 30M plus vessels , a remarkable number of them have declared annual incomes of less than 20,000 Euros , which would not cover the berth costs for a year ..... cool

Come on now guys, it happens everywhere. Including the UK. It's called "having a good accountant".
