Talk Morgan Forums Thread Like Summary - Update on Jack the lad

many of the older members on this site will have known JTL for his humorous posts. John was diagnosed with cancer in 2020 , and he had a successful operation in 2021 and he is now cancer free unfortunately a side effect of the operation and treatment enhanced the early stages of dementia. He is now in a nursing home and he has no capacity and very little cognitive.
I would like to make a booklet of the stories he has posted on her over the years for the grandchildren as they are only 4 years old and 18 months old. the email address which John registered with is no longer in use . So I was wondering if someone could email them to me at june(email redacted for privacy) I still have his morgan in the garage as i can't bear to part with it yet. Thank you in advance and I will keep you updated with any change in his condition.

Very sorry to read of the news with regards to John.

I'll do my best to extract his posts and email them to you. If I can't find a way to do it via the software, I'll do it manually, which will take me a little time; however, I'll drop you an email and keep you updated.

I will also delete your email, so as to avoid you getting any unwanted spam mail; however, if anyone has a genuine reason for the address, they can contact me for it. If, however, you would like it reinstated, just let me know.

June, thank you for the news on John albeit sad - we had all been wondering about him and I had sent several emails to the accounts he had supplied over time.

We will sort this out for you between us.

Update: the system doesn't allow me to export a members posts; however, I've reached out to people far more technically capable than myself, and there may be a way to extract John's post using more technical means.

I've sent an appeal for assistance to one of the UBB team and I do hope they can help. If not, I'll be going the 'old school' route of review and then 'cut-copy-paste' each one of Jack the Lad's posts into a document!
