I went for a run over the Lecht then back round via Dufftown and Glenlivet and also stopped by the Drive Café. Beautiful and quite warm day albeit the warm air was going by at about 50 knots on the Lecht. Did stop for a couple of photos and it was surprisingly difficult to stand up in the breeze. After lunch at teh Drive it was back to Aberdeen and a potter along the beach esplanade. I too found out that the Morgan Day meet up has moved to tomorrow and, unforeseen things permitting I will be there.
Had to have a run out on IMD of course! .... dropped by the Drive Cafe for lunch to find that, having had to cancel the evening event, they'd re-scheduled ... to Saturday! 😆 ... always a good place to hang-out but the afternoon was improved by the arrival of GordonD of this parish with his wife and their lovely car ... a particularly excellent shade of blue in real life .... beautifully kept and made the old Crossflow look quite home-made by comparison. 🙂 Was fine to have a chat to another TM-er ... Morgans are quite thin on the ground up this way. Will keep an eye on the Drive FB page to see who rolls up tomorrow.
On a decent Sat/Sun the place is buzzing with cars .... right across the board from classics to Japanese rockets that I have no idea about but are obviously revered by those in the know! 🙂 ... bikes too.
Hopefully we'll cross paths again soon 👍

Ps ... they had a selection of Morgans turn up for their delayed IMD
Pps ... Gordon .... they've got a great little gallery of pics of your car on their FB page after your visit
