My 1978 4/4 has a problem when turning right, indicator not working.

There has been an intermittent issue with both indicators for a while, but now the right indicator is dead as the proverbial dodo.

Hazard switch illuminates and flashes both sides, so I assume the flasher unit is OK, and both dash lights flash under this circumstance.

I did previously have some corrosion issues in the lights themselves, but with some patience and WD40 the lights work perfectly now on "hazard", but on right indicator neither front nor back flash and no dashboard light.

Any thoughts on where to go next? Indicator switch?

Whilst ratlling around under the dash, I did find what look to be two spare spade connectors from the loom, one with a red wire and the other grey, but I think this is unrelated and I can't see the other end for either of them, they appear to be behing the w/w h/l switch which I think is redundant, at least on my car.

Thanks all, it turns out it is part of an ongoing issue I have had with the ignition switch. My last call for help was around the engine just dying, which was fixed in the same way, by a bit of a jiggle behind the switch. I really must pull it out and see whats going on, but here in Australia it's just coming into peak Morganeering weather, and I'd rather be driving than tinkering. No doubt it will let me down far from home sometime, and then I'll leap into action. I did acquire a new ignition switch when I bought her, but haven't got a roundtuit
