I have been using the free Imgur picture hosting site very successfully from 2017 since the Photobucket debacle. Disturbed today to find all my image posts plus my avatar replaced with the message "Content not viewable in your region". No access to my account either. This will almost certainly effect other TM members who use the same hosting.

A search revealed this very recent info from our Information Commissioners Office. It seems the US site owners, MediaLab AI inc., have removed all access to their Imgur site from the UK. I received absolutely no prior warning of this seemingly drastic action, although accept it may be a rapid damage limitation response.

Imgur did provide a link to retrieve my data, which following my request was quickly acted upon. It's just a pdf though listing the unique identifiers of every one of the many images carried on my account. Somewhat academic as I can't load them anyway.

If anyone can offer advice, legal or IT, on where I go from here in recovering my images it would be appreciated.

Sorry to hear that Richard. Have you tried logging in using a VPN?
