Had a quick run across to Applecross this week, camped one night at the top of the Bealach na Ba to get the night sky and some stunning dawn light. Spent a day wandering round Torridon under the usual blue skies and bright sunshine followed by a run back over the pass in some dramatic mist to Lochcarron then round by Eilean Donan, Invergarry, Fort Augustus then over the moors to Daviot, Grantown and over the Lecht to get home.

As a place to park for the night, the view's nae bad.

Absolutely wonderful photographs.I'm very familiar and have visited most of the areas you mention, albeit in a professional mode.
I'd love (& plan) to do something similar, but my main question is how do you post such pics on a standard thread - I cannot work out how to do that.
Thoroughly beautiful Morgan, and you obviously made the correct Pictish sacrifices to the weather!

Posting photos into messages feels more like a workaround than a method. Basically the image file itself has to be somewhere publicly accessible on the Web then you need to paste the Web address of the image into your post but surrounded by the correct UBB tags.
The easiest way of doing this without all the tedious understanding of arcane coding is to go to tm-img (this links to the instruction page) which is an image hosting site set up and run by denizens of this forum. If you set up an account you can upload photos then there is an option to copy the full image UBB code and paste it into your TM post (without using the insert image button) which should put your photos directly into the post. Clicking on the preview button is always worthwhile to check that things have actually worked.
Hope this helps.
