Put deposit down on MY22 automatic Plus Four, so if all goes well hopefully mine in week or so time.

In trying to find the current state of the radiator revisions on the car etc.I had an interesting talk with Morgan sales and after sales (,they originally sold the car from the factory to the owner and know him well). Basically they told me don't me worry about any radiator issues (if any) they will sort out FOC , for now at least They also pointed out a lot of the CX's haven't experienced a radiator issue. I suppose being in a Morgan forum, the density of such issues may be more magnified than one may encounter in a wider community. All very reassuring, Mind you they also did advise having a recovery membership, something we both laughed at, when I pointed out I only ever had a recovery membership when owning any one of my five previous Morgans. Nothing ever really changes.

They also advised me to get it serviced with them and they will sort any issues on the car out, Can't ask for much more than that. I appreciate there's a price attached to that, but that very personal interaction was much appreciated and valued.

So I'm looking forward to coming over to the what some might consider the dark side of Morganeering, I'll put up pictures once I get a chance in the coming days.

I was looking for a least an MY23 car , but the polished wood interior on this one , so trad. just did it for me.

After a 4.5 hour journey to get there, I got to see the car in person today and drive it. and I wasn't in the least bit disappointed . I was really surprised by the difference in the ride compared to a trad and the automatic is a joy to drive. Whilst it was a short drive, it was as comfortable as the Mercedes we drove down in and the acceleration even in standard mode was staggering for the size of engine.. Over the moon with the car., cant wait to collect it. Love the look of the interior, especially the wooden steering wheel, which is so preferable to the standard fare.

The Dark side:-
